  24. I doubt its worth trying to compile anything with VC 1.0!

  26. You should seriously consider another compiler.  The later 
  27. versions of VC would probably not run on your system, so you 
  28. would have to look to Borland or Symantec or some other vendor 
  29. for a less resource intensive compiler.

  31. As to the exact error you're getting, the providing error output 
  32. and offending code would be appropriate for someone to help you 
  33. debug your problems.
